Wil Crowe, born on September 9, 1994, is an American professional baseball pitcher associated with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. His remarkable journey through the world of baseball began when he caught the attention of the Cleveland Indians in the 2013 MLB draft. However, he pursued higher education at the University of South Carolina instead. Unfortunately, a setback occurred during his college days when he tore his ulnar collateral ligament, leading to Tommy John surgery in April 2015. Crowe's unwavering determination and hard work during his rehabilitation paid off, allowing him to triumphantly return to the field in 2016, impressing scouts with his fastball reaching up to 95 miles per hour. Despite the Indians selecting him again in the 2016 MLB draft, Crowe decided to continue his college career as a redshirt junior.

In 2017, Wil Crowe's talent truly shone as he led the South Carolina Gamecocks in strikeouts and became the 65th overall pick in the MLB draft by the Washington Nationals. His remarkable journey continued as he received a significant signing bonus and eventually made his Major League Baseball debut on August 22, 2020. Later, in a trade with the Nationals, Crowe found himself with the Pittsburgh Pirates, where he continued to make a significant impact, including memorable performances such as pitching against Aaron Judge, who hit his 60th home run of the season off Crowe's pitch. Despite facing challenges along the way, Crowe remains a promising talent in professional baseball, and his autographed baseball card is a prized possession for any baseball enthusiast.
